i'm already swamped...

(yes those are all of my nursing school books! that doesn't include the large duffle bag of supplies that i have to bring to practice skills)

about 10 prerequisite courses and too much money spent on textbooks and tuition, here i am, an official nursing school student. today was my first day. it was very overwhelming but good. today we basically just went over the course calendar and syllabus. but after lunch is when it got fun. we learned how to give shots. we have this funny little thing that feels like a water baby that we practiced on. i'm nervous to do it on a real person. next month we will start our practicals at the hospital here in town. yeehaw!

Congrats! If it were me... I'd be so psyched to get scrubs... hehe!

Crap, good luck with that! :) The pile of books alone would make me want to curl up and cry - but you're obviously stronger than me, you pulled yourself away from the tears long enough to blog about it! :)kidding Hope that it all goes smooth!

oh man i'm so jealous you are still in school!! i miss all that homework and studying all the time. The picture of all the books brought back nightmare flashbacks for Steph from her days in nursing school. you already look like a pro in those scrubs! Good luck in school!!
